RADISH SOUP
INGREDIENTS:
Radish - 2 big
Horse gram-1/4 cup
Curryleaves-15 -20 sprigs
Shallots-3
Garlic cloves -3
salt- to taste
Turmeric -1/4 tsp
Cumin powder- 1 tsp
pepper - to taste
METHOD :
*Chop 2 medium sized radish roughly
*To a pressure cooker add 2 cups of water
* To it Add 3 shallots and 3 garlic cloves crushed in a mortar pestle.
*Then add in 1/4 cup of horse gram, 15-20 sprigs of curry leaves
and chopped radish one after other
*Then sprinkle needed salt, turmeric and cumin powder
*Pressure cook for 4 whistles
*Once the pressure goes off, open the lid and Strain the soup stock
*Then using a masher mash the veggies thoroughly
*Add another cup of water to the cooker and transfer the mashed veggies into the cooker
*Cook until it comes to a boil
*Again strain it off and give a mash
*Add salt(if needed)& pepper to taste
*Delicious Radish soup is ready
*Serve hot
