PANEER STEAK WITH SAUTEED VEGGIES
A great five star restaurant style dinner menu made easily at home . Paneer steak stuffed with mushroom cream over a bed of tomato sauce served along with sauteed vegetables.
INGREDIENTS:
FOR MARINADE:
Paneer - 200 g
Olive oil -1 tbsp
salt -to taste
White pepper -1 tsp
garlic powder -1 tsp
mixed herbs -1 tsp
FOR STUFFING:
Mushroom-1/2 cup finely chopped
olive oil -1/2 tbsp
wheat flour-1 tsp
Milk - 1/2 cup
salt-to taste
pepper- to taste
FOR SAUTEED VEGGIES:
Carrot - 1
Green Beans -4
Onion -1
Bell pepper -1/2
Salt - to taste
Pepper -to taste
Mixed herbs -1/2 tsp
Tomato Sauce base -1/2 cup
METHOD:
- In a bowl marinade a square shaped block of paneer with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder and mixed herbs for 15 -20 minutes.
- Cut it into a triangle.
Preparing of stuffed mushroom
- In a pan heat oil, add finely chopped mushrooms .
- Sauté it adding salt and pepper.
- Once the mushroom gets shrinked, put the wheat flour and sauté it for few seconds.
- Pour milk and keep stirring continuously until sauce thickens.
- The stuffing is ready keep it aside.
Sauteed Veggies:
- In a pan , heat oil and add carrot , green bell pepper, green beans, onion
- Saute it adding salt, pepper, mixed herbs until it is cooked crunchy.
- Remove and keep it aside.
STUFFING THE PANEER:
- In a pan heat oil, and grill the paneer on medium heat
- Turn one paneer triangle and spread the stuffed mushroom over it.
- Carefully place the stuffing ,over one side(check the video link below) and place another paneer triangle over it , with grilled side downwards.
- Now flip the stuffed paneer carefully and cook on to the other side too.
- Remove and keep it aside.
- To the same pan add Tomato sauce base and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Then add the heavy cream and cook for a minute and switch off the flame.
PLATING:
- In a plate pour the cooked tomato base.
- Place stuffed and grilled Paneer on the centre, and sauteed veggies over the side.
- Serve hot!!
