 Mozarella Cheese Sticks

Mozarella cheese sticks is easy, cheesy, gooey recipe that can be done so easily and is a great snack to serve your kids or guests.


Mozzarella cheese -200 g
Eggs -2
bread crumbs -11/2 cup
salt- to taste
chili powder - to taste
Basil - 1/2 tsp
Wheat flour -1/2 cup


  • Cut mozzarella cheese into thick stick size or into any desirable shape of your choice.
  • Whisk two eggs in a bowl with adequate salt and chili powder .
  • In a flat plate take bread crumbs and sprinkle salt, chili powder and basil  and mix it well.
  • Take a cut cheese stick and Coat it sticks with the wheat flour.
  • Then dip in the egg batter
  • Coat the cheese stick with bread crumbs.
  • Again dip it in the egg batter and coat it with bread crumb.
  • Two coats of egg wash and bread crumbs is done to ensure a thick coating , so that cheese does not melt.
  • Repeat the same for all the sticks
  • Now freeze the sticks in a refrigerator for 30 minutes or you can refrigerate overnight.
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry the sticks one by one (avoid dumping all as it will stick to one another and becomes mess) for 30  seconds to a minute until nice golden
  • Serve hot!!!!
