VEGETARIAN SALADS
Salads are so refreshing and healthy .Colorful salads are appetizing and soothing to the tummy.Here are two salads with so much of flavor and color.
RAINBOW SALAD
INGREDIENTS
green bell pepper-1/2 cup
yellowbell pepper-1/2 cup
redbell pepper-1/2 cup
crumbled paneer-1/2 cup
Sliced onions -1/2 cup
FOR SALAD DRESSING:
Olive oil -1 tbsp
salt-to taste
pepper-to taste
lemon juice-1 tbsp
shredded garlic -1/4 tsp
METHOD
- Make a salad dressing by mixing ingredients listed for salad dressing into a bowl.
- To the salad bowl put in half cup each of green bell pepper , yellow bell pepper, red bell pepper , crumbled paneer and sliced onions.
- Pour in the salad dressing and give it a good mix and serve.
BABYCORN SALAD BOWL
INGREDIENTS
Lettuce leaves -as needed
babycorn tandoori-3/4 cup
tomato -2 tbsp chopped
onion -2 tbsp chopped
cucumber -2 tbsp
bell pepper-2 tbsp chopped
indian sev -to garnish
FOR SALAD DRESSING:
mint leaves- bunch
green chili -1
lemon juice -1 tsp
ginger-little piece
chaat masala -1/4 tsp
yogurt-2 tbsp
salt -to taste
METHOD
- Grind the ingredients listed in for salad dressing into a blender.Add little water to make it into a dressing consistency
- Prepare baby corn tandoori as in the link below
- To a salad plate arrange lettuce leaves and throw in baby corn tandoori, tomato, bell pepper, onion, cucumber, spreading allover.
- Spread indian sev to give a nice crunch to the salad.
- Finally drizzle in the salad dressing as much as you need.
