Quick Chicken Salads

Here is a two quick chicken salad recipes that's super easy to make and has balance of nutrition. It's a great option for diet watchers.

Chicken Waldorf Salad:



Ingredients:

Cooked Cubed chicken-½ cup
Apple-½ cup
Roasted walnuts-1/
Carrot(or celery)-¼ cup
Grapes deseeded and halved-¼ cup

For salad dressing:

Mayonnaise-2 tbsp

Honey-1 tbsp

Salt - to taste

Pepper-to taste

Method:

  • Put all the ingredients listed under the salad dressing in a small bowl , mix well .Salad dressing is ready.

  • In a salad bowl , add the apple, cooked chicken, grapes, roasted walnuts, carrots.Mix it.

  • Then pour in the salad dressing and mix it thoroughly

  • Salad is ready to serve

Thai Chicken Salad:



Ingredients:

Cooked shredded Chicken-½ cup

Cabbage sliced-½ cup

Carrot sliced-¼ cup

Bell pepper sliced-¼ cup

Roasted peanuts-1 tbsp

For salad dressing:

Peanut butter-11/2 tbsp

Coconut milk-11/2 tsp

Chili flakes- to taste

Honey-1 tsp

Salt- to taste


Method:

  • Put all the ingredients listed under the salad dressing in a small bowl , mix well .Salad dressing is ready.

  • In a salad bowl , add the cooked chicken, cabbage, bell pepper, roasted peanuts, carrots. Mix it.

  • Then pour in the salad dressing and mix it thoroughly

  • Salad is ready to serve
