Homemade Cheese Spread
Ingredients:
Whole cashews-½ cup
Water-3/4 cup
Salt - to taste
Water-3/4 cup
Salt - to taste
Method:
Soak whole cashews in water for at least 4-5 hours.
Drain the soaked water and transfer the cashews into a blender.
Add ¼ tsp of salt,¾ cup of water to it and blend it well.
Transfer it into an airtight container and let it sit at room temperature for at least 6 hours.
After it's fermented it turns to a smooth cheesy consistency.
Refrigerate and use it within a week
Quick Bruschetta:
Ingredients:
Wheat rusk-as needed
Tomato finely chopped -as needed
Cheese spread-as needed
Dried basil -as needed
Tomato finely chopped -as needed
Cheese spread-as needed
Dried basil -as needed
Method:
Spread the prepared cheese over the wheat rusk and sprinkle basil as needed
Place the finely chopped tomatoes and quick bruschetta is ready to serve
