QUICK RECIPES WITH SPROUTS
Sprouts are healthy, easy digestible, aids in weight loss and boosts immunity system and is very good to consume in our regular diet.We have shared three recipes using green gram sprouts that can be made so quick and tastes too good .
SPROUTS PANEER CUTLET
INGREDIENTS:
Green gram sprouts -1 cup
Crumbled paneer -1/2 cup
garlic -2 cloves
garam masala -1/2 tsp
green chilies -2
cilantro -1 tbsp
salt -to taste
oil -to shallow fry
METHOD:
- Blend sprouts , garlic cloves, green chili salt, garam masala into a coarse paste
- Add crumbled paneer to it and cilantro too
- Make it into small patties.
- Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the patties until golden on both sides.
- Serve hot
SPROUTS PANIYAYARAM
INGREDIENTS
Green gram sprouts -1 cup
black jaggery syrup -1/4 cup
shredded coconut -1 tbsp
Ghee - as needed
METHOD:
- Blend green gram sprouts with 2-3 tbsp of water into a smooth paste.
- Transfer it into a bowl and mix black jaggery syrup and shredded coconut to it.
- (to make black jaggery syrup , cook 1/4 cup of powdered black jaggery and 1/4 cup water on a stove until it melts.)
- Then in a appe pan, add ghee to every mould and pour in the batter to each mould.
- Cook for 3 minutes or until golden on the bottom and turn to other side.
- Cook until the other side turn golden too.
- Soft and melting paniyaarams are ready.Serve hot
SPROUTS GOMASHIO
INGREDIENTS:
Green gram sprouts -1 cup
roasted black sesame seeds- 2 tbsp
salt -1 tsp
METHOD:
- Blend roasted black sesame seeds and salt into a fine powder
- Then add it to the bowl of sprouts and mix thoroughly
- You can squeeze in a tint of lemon juice for flavor(optional)
- Serve this refreshing salad
