Prawns chilli roast
Prawn chili roast is a spicy appetizer/side recipe in which marinaded prawns are deep fried and coated with a tasty sauce.
Ingredients:
To marinade:
Prawns -20
salt -to taste
chili powder -11/2 tsp
turmeric -1/2 tsp
lemon juice -1 tbsp
For grinding:
shallots -5
green chili -1
ginger -2 clove size
garlic -2 clove
Others:
onion -1/3 cup finely chopped
tomato -1
curry leaves -few
soy sauce -2 tsp
salt -to taste
Preparation time:10 min+1 hr marinade
Cooking time : 25 min
Ingredients:
- Marinade deveined and shell off prawns with the ingredients for marinating for at least an hour.
- Fry the prawns until it turns golden and remove and keep it aside.
- Grind the ingredients given for grinding into a paste.
- In a pan heat oil and add the finely chopped onions.
- add the ground paste and curry leaves.
- cook until the raw flavor goes off.
- Follow it with tomatoes and desired salt.cook until it becomes mushy
- Add the dark soy and mix well.
- Then add the fried Prawns.Stir well to coat the prawns with the sauce
- Serve as an appetizer or side .
