Drumstick leaves/Murungaikeerai utthappam

Drumstick leaves/murungai keerai uthappam is a healthy dosa variety  that is more similar to onion uthappam and is an easy way to include greens in your diet.







Ingredients:

Dosa batter                                         -4 ladles
murungaikeerai/Drumstick leaves     -1 cup
shallots chopped                                -2 tbsp 
green chili                                          -1
salt                                                      -to taste
pepper                                                -to taste
oil                                                       -to drizzle

               

Method:

  • In a bowl  take drumstick leaves,chopped shallots ,green chili, salt and lightly crush with your hands to blend well.
                              
  • Heat griddle and pour two ladle of dosa batter and make a thick round circle like utthapam.
  • Top it with drumstick leaves from bowl liberally .
                                     
  • Drizzle oil around the utthapam.
  • Cook until golden and turn to the other side.Cook on medium heat

  • After a while turn back again and sprinkle some pepper.
