Chicken Cutlet

Chicken cutlet


chicken boneless-200g
potato                 -1  medium cooked
egg                       -1
salt                      -to taste
turmeric              -1/4 tsp
green chilies        -3
pepper powder    -1/2 tsp
onion                   -2 tbsp finely chopped
cilantro               - 1 tbsp finely chopped
garam masala      -1/2 tsp
oil                         -to shallow fry
Bread crumbs       -as needed


  • Cook chicken in little water salt and turmeric. Once well done blend it in a mixer.Alternately you can use ground chicken if available and cook it.

  • Peel the skin off the potato and mash it thoroughly.
  • In a mixing bowl mix mashed potato,chicken,onion,green chilies,pepper powder,salt,cilantro,garam masala and an egg thoroughly.

  • Make even sized patties and roll over bread crumbs.

  • Shallow fry the patties on both sides until golden.

  • Serve the chicken cutlets as evening snack/appetizer
