Baby corn pulav
Ingredients:
Basmathi Rice -11/4 cup
Baby corn -300 g
bell pepper red,green-1/2 cup cubed
bell pepper red,green-1/2 cup cubed
Ghee/oil -1 tbsp
cinnamon -1 /2 ''
cloves -2
bay leaf -1
yogurt -2
salt -to taste
salt -to taste
To grind:
Tomato -1
ginger garlic paste -2 tsp
mint leaves -1/4 cup
fennel seeds -1/3 tsp
cinnamon -1/2 inch
clove -2
green chilies -3-4
Method:
- Soak Basmathi Rice for 15 minutes.
- Blend the ingredients given to ground into a fine paste.
- In a pressure cooker heat oil /ghee add temper with cinnamon,cloves and bayleaves.
- Add the ground paste and cook until the raw flavor goes off.
- Put the baby corn roundels and bell peppers.
- Add adequate salt.
- Mix well and add the yogurt.
- Follow it with the drained rice.
- Pour 2 cups of water.Pressure cook it for a whistle.
- When the pressure goes off open the lid .
- Baby corn Pulav is ready to serve.
