Microwave Rava dhokla

Microwave Rava dhokla


Ingredients:

rava                     - 1cup
yogurt                  -1/2 cup
butter milk           -1/2 cup
sugar                    -1/2 tsp
shredded ginger    -1 tsp
green chili            -2
fruit salt               -1/2 tsp
salt                     - to taste
oil                      - 11/2 tsp

for tempering

Oil                          -1  tbsp
mustard seeds    -3/4 tsp
cumin seeds       -3/4 tsp
green chili          -2
curry leaves       -few
cilantro              -to garnish


Method:


  • In a mixing bowl mix rava and yogurt.
  • Also add shredded ginger,green chilies, salt,oil, sugar, buttermilk and mix well.



  • Grease a microwave safe bowl.Add eno fruit salt to the mixing bowl stir well and transfer it immediately into  the greased microwave safe bowl.


  • Microwave for 4 minutes.Give stand time for 3 minutes.

  • Cut the dhoklas into desired size and shape.

  • In another microwave safe bowl heat oil for a minute.

  • Add mustard seeds and cook for 1  minute.

  • Add the cumin seeds, curry leaves , cilantro , green chilies.

  • Pour the tempering over the dhoklas.

  • Serve with green chutney.

Serves 2-4
