basil walnut pesto

Basil walnut pesto


basil leaves        - 4 oz
walnut                -1 cup
parmesan cheese -1 cup
olive oil              -1 cup
garlic cloves        -4-5


  • In a pan slightly toast the walnuts.
  • Blend walnuts and parmesan cheese in a food processor for a few seconds.

  • Add the basil leaves and garlic cloves and blend it  by slowly adding the olive oil
  • Blend until smooth.

  • You can use this pesto sauce in various pastas, sandwiches, pizzas.
  • This makes approximately 2 cups of pesto sauce.
