Scrambled Tofu

Scrambled Tofu



Ingredients:

Extra firm tofu                       -170 g
milk                                       -1/2 cup+2 tbsp
chickpea flour                        -11/2 tbsp
salt                                        -as per taste
chili powder                           -1 tsp
cumin powder                        -1/4 tsp
bell pepper                             -2 tbsp finely chopped
tomato                                   -2 tbsp finely chopped
onions                                    -2 tbsp finely chopped
cilantro                                   -1 tsp finely chopped
oil /butter                                -1/2 tbsp

Method:


  • In a mixing bowl mash drained tofu adding milk to it.


  • Now add chickpea flour,salt,chili powder,ground turmeric and cumin powder.Stir well.

  • Now mix in chopped onions,bell pepper,tomatoes and freshly chopped cilantro.

  • In a pan heat butter/oil and add the tofu mixture to it.


  • Cook it 15-20 minutes on medium until the water content is completely gone and dried out.

  • Serve hot in a serving bowl.

Serves  1
