Chicken Chilli Roast

Chicken Chilli Roast


For marinating:

Boneless chickenbreasts  - 500 g
salt                                  - to taste
chilli powder                  - 2 tsp
chilli vinegar                  - 1 tsp

For grinding:

Onion                   -1/2
ginger                   -2inch
garlic  cloves       -4
green chillies       -1or 2

For sauce:

Onion                - 1 finely chopped
tomato               -  1 finely chopped
salt                     - to taste
oil                      - to  fry


  • marinade chicken with the ingredients for marinating for  atleast an hour.
  •  Fry the chicken until it turns golden and remove and keep it aside.

  • Grind the ingredients  given for grinding into a paste.

  •  In a same pan heat the oil and add the finely chopped onions.

  •  add the ground paste .

  • cook until the raw flavor goes off.
  • Follow it with tomatoes and desired salt.

  • cook until it becomes mushy
  • Add fried chicken.

  • Stir well to coat the chickenwith the sauce

  • Garnish with cilantro or spring oinion

  • Serve as an appetizer or side to any main course.

Serves 4-6
