Tofu Canapes(korean cuisine)


Tofu Canapes(Korean cuisine)


Tofu               -  350 g
red chili sauce-  1 tsp
soy sauce        -  1 tbsp.
spring onion   -  11/2 tbsp finely  chopped
honey             -  1/2 tsp
sesame seeds  -  1 tsp
oil                   -  1-2 tbsp.


  • Drain the tofu and cut it into slices like in picture.

  • In a bowl mix chopped spring onion, red chili sauce soy sauce  , honey.

  • In a pan dry roast the sesame seeds until it pops up.

  • Mix the sesame seeds and make a sauce.

  • In a pan heat oil and shallow fry the  tofu on both sides until golden.

  • Arrange fried tofu and apply sauce on one side and put another fried tofu over it.

  • Serve as an appetizer.

Serves 4-6
