Shrimp masala

Shrimp Masala

shrimp                  - 12nos
cumin seeds          -1/4tsp
onion                    -1
ginger garlic paste-1tsp
tomato                   -11/2
chili powder          -1/2 tsp
coriander powder  -1tsp
fennel powder       -1/4 tsp
salt                         -to taste
oil                           -2tbsp
pepper powder       -1/2tsp
coriander leaves     -for garnish.

  • In a kadai heat oil and temper with cumin seeds
  • Add onion and cook it until golden
  • Add ginger garlic paste and fry until raw smell goes off
  • Now add the finely chopped tomatoes.

    • After it gets mashed add the coriander powder, fennel powder, chilli powder, and salt.

    Add the cleaned shrimp to it and fry well.
    • Cook until shrimp is well cooked and oil oozes out.

    • Add  pepper and cook for few minutes then garnish with coriander leaves.

    Serves   2
