Ingredients:onion -2 large
green chillies -2-3
urad dhal -1tbsp+1/2 tsp
mustard seeds -1/2 tsp
curry leaves -few
salt -to taste
oil -2 tsp
- In a pan heat oil and fry urad dhal and green chillies until golden
- Add the chopped onions and fry until golden.
- add desired salt ,switch off and allow it to cool
- Blend it in a mixer.
- In a pan heat oil and temper with mustard seeds, urad dhal and curry leaves
- Pour the tempering over the ground mixture.
- Serve the onion chutney along with dosa/idli
