Paneer tikka masala

Paneer tikka Masala



Paneer                    -250 g
onion                      -1/2 cubed
tomato                    -1 cubed
bell pepper             -1/2 cubed

For marinating:

yogurt                    -3 tbsp
coriander powder  -11/2 tsp
cumin powder       -1 tsp
chilli powder         -1 -11/2 tsp
garam masala        -1/2 tsp
ginger garlic paste-11/2 tsp
salt                        -to taste
food colour           -optional


For masala:

Onions                  - 1 finely chopped
whole garam         - to temper
tomatoes               -2
cashews                -5-6
ginger garlic paste-1  tsp
coriander powder  - 11/2 tsp
cumin powder       -1/2 tsp
chilli powder         - 1 tsp
salt                         -to taste

How to make Paneer Tikka

To make masala:

  • Blend tomato and cashews together into a fine puree
  • In a pan heat oil and temper with whole garam
  • Add onion to it and fry until golden brown.

  • Fry ginger garlic paste until the raw flavor goes off.

  •  Now add the pureed tomato cashew paste .

  • When it boils add the coriander powder, chili powder, salt, cumin powder and cook until oil oozes water

  • Add a cup of water to it .

  • When it starts boiling add the prepared paneer tikka and  cook until the gravy gets the desired consistency
