Paneer Pakoda

Paneer Pakoda


Paneer                    - 200g
besan                      - 1 cup
rice flour                 - 1/4 cup
salt                          -  to taste
chili powder            - 1 tsp
baking soda             - little
chilli garlic sauce    -1/2 tbsp.
tomato sauce            -2 tsp
oil                             -to deep fry


  • Marinate cubed paneer in chili garlic sauce and tomato sauce for at least 30 minutes

  • In a bowl mix besan ,rice flour, chilli powder ,baking soda together.

  • Add adequate water to make a thick batter(dosa batter consistency)

  • Heat oil for deep frying.
  • Dip paneer cubes into the batter(so thatit gets well coated )and put in oil.

  • Fry until golden and crisp.

  • Serve  with tomato sauce/mint  chutney

Serves 4
