White Sauce

White Sauce


milk                               -1 cup
unsalted butter               -1tbsp
all purpose flour/maida -1tbsp


  • In a pan heat butter .

  • when the butter melts immediately start adding flour  to it stirring continuously.(without forming lumps)

  • Once the flour is added with no lumps immediately add the milk slowly stirring continuously.

  • Cook until the sauce thickens to the right consistency.
  • This can be used to enhance the flavor of various dishes.
