baby potato 65


baby potato           -  6-8
chopped ginger     -1/4 tsp
chopped garlic      -1/4 tsp
curry leaves          - few
onions cubed         -1/2

For marinade:

yogurt                   -  1/4 cup
chilli powder         -11/2 tsp
salt                         -to taste
corn flour              -4 tbsp.
ginger garlic paste-1 tbsp.


  • In a pot boil potatoes until tender

  • Peel the skin and cut into half or three pieces
  • Mix the ingredients together for marinade and add potatoes to it too.
  • Allow it to rest for 20-30 minutes

  • Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the marinaded potatoes in batches until golden

  • remove and keep it aside.

  • Now put chopped ginger,garlic,onion and curry leaves and cook for a while(be careful as oil splutters for curryleaves)

  • Pour it over the fried potatoes.

  • Serve as an appetizer
Serves 3-4
