Fish cutlet/fish patties

Fish cutlet/Fish patties

 
 

Ingredients:

Fish                       -  200g
Potato                    - 200g
salt                        - to taste
chilli powder         - 1 tsp
fennel powder       - 1/4 tsp
garam masala        -1/4 tsp
pepper powder      -2 tsp
gingergarlicpaste  -1 tsp
egg white              -1
bread crumbs        - as needed.
oil                         - to shallow fry
 

Method:

  • Boil the potato in a cooker/pot until well cooked.
  • Place fish in a pot and steam cook in  pressure cooker for a whistle.

 


  • Mince the fish piece with the hands removing the bones .



  • Peel and mash the potato well with masher/spatula
  • Take egg white Seperately.



  • Beat egg white for a minute with a spoon/whisker.Mix all the ingredients except bread crumbs thoroughly .




  • Make patties and roll over bread crumbs.



  • Now shallow fry the patties on both sides to make it golden.





  • Serve as an appetizer
