Banana Halwa

Banana Halwa


banana                     -  3 ripe
condensed milk       -  3 tbsp
ghee                         - 2-3 tbsp
cardamom powder  -  1/8 tsp
food colour             - pinch
cashews                   -to garnish


  • Peel the banana and mash with the hands/potato masher.

  • In a pan heat a tbsp of ghee and add the pureed banana.

  • Keep stirring for 10 -12 minutes on medium or until the raw flavour goes off
  • Sprinkle some cardamom powder and food colour.

  •  Mix well and add the condensed milk.

  • Keep stirring adding remaining ghee slowly for another 10 minutes.

  • Garnish with fried cashews and serve in a dessert bowl.
