Vegetable masala
Ingredients:
chopped carrot - 2 cupschopped potato - 2 cups
green peas -1 cup
chopped onion - 1 cup
gingergarlicpaste - 1/2 tsp(optional)
salt - to taste
chilli powder - 1 - 11/2 tsp
garam masala - to sprinkle
turmeric - pinch
coriandercuminpowder - 1 tsp
cilantro - to garnish
oil - 2 tsp
Method:
- In a cooker heat oil and add chopped onion.
- After it turns transparent add the ginger garlic paste.
- Once the raw flavour goes off add the chopped vegetables.
- Add the salt,chilli powder,turmeric,garam masala and mix well.
- Add 1/4 cup of water.
- Pressure cook it for a whistle.
- Open after the pressure goes off and add coriandercumin powder,cilantro.
- Mix well and serve with bread,dosa or Rice
