Turkey chilli roast
Turkey chilli roast is a real treat starter /side for spice lovers.Turkey is marinated with spice powders and deep fried in hot oil.Then it is coated with a spicy sauce .
Ingredients:
For marinating:
Boneless turkey breasts - 600 gsalt - to taste
chilli powder - 2 tsp
chilli vinegar - 1 tsp
For grinding:
Onion -1/2ginger garlic paste-1 tbsp
green chillies - 2-3
For sauce:
Onion - 1 finely choppedtomato - 1 finely chopped
curry leaves - few
dark soy sauce - 1 tsp
salt - to taste
oil - to fry
Preparation time:10 min +1 hr marinade
Cooking time :25 min
Method:
- marinade turkey with the ingredients for marinating for at least an hour.
- Fry the turkey until it turns golden and remove and keep it aside.
- Grind the ingredients given for grinding into a paste.
- In a pan heat oil and add the finely chopped onions.
- add the ground paste and curry leaves.
- cook until the raw flavour goes off.
- Follow it with tomatoes and desired salt.
- cook until it becomes mushy
- Add the dark soy and fried turkey
- Stir well to coat the turkey with the sauce
- Garnish with cilantro
- Serve as an appetizer or side to any maincourse.
