Crab curry
Ingredients:
Crab (precooked) - 1 kg
small onion - 400 g
tomato - 2
ginger garlic paste - 1 1/2 tbsp
Salt - to taste
chilli powder - 1 tsp
coriander powder - 11/2 tsp
cumin powder - 11/2 tsp
turmeric - 1/4 tsp
turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Pepper powder - 1/2 tbsp
fennel seeds -1/2 tsp
curry leaves - few
cilantro - to garnish
Sesame oil - 2 -3 tbsp
Sesame oil - 2 -3 tbsp
Method:
- In a pot boil the cleaned crab in water and salt until it is well cooked (if you dont get a precooked crab)
- In a pressure cooker heat oil and temper with fennel seeds.
- Add the finely chopped onions to it .
- Once it turns tansparent add the curryleaves
- Then fry gingergarlic paste and turmeric untilt the raw flavour goes off.
