Cabbage yakhini/Muttaikos kuzhambu
Ingredients:
Cabbage - 400gyogurt - 1 cup
salt - to taste
kashmiri chilli powder - 21/2 tsp
whole garam - to temper
fennel powder - 1/4 tsp
ginger powder - 1 tsp
turmeric -1/4 tsp
oil - 1 tsp
Method:
- Beat yogurt well(do not use sour) and keep it aside
- Clean and cut cabbage into cubes
- In a cooker/pan heat oil and temper with whole garam.
- Add the chopped cabbage and fry for a minute or two.
- Now add salt,turmeric,kashmiri chilli powder,ginger powderand salt
- Stir well and sprinkle little water and pressure cook it for a whistle(if you use a pancook until cabbage is well done)
- Now add the beaten yogurt to it and desired water and cook for just 2 minutes.
- Serve this diet curry with Rice/Chappathi
