yam fry/senaikizhangu varuval

 

Ingredients:

Yam/senaikizhangu         -  350 g
salt                                   -  to taste
chilli powder                   - 11/2 tsp
mustard seeds                  - 1/2 tsp
urad dhal                         -  1 tsp
curry leaves                     - few
oil                                    - to fry

 

Method:

  • In a pan heat oil and temper with mustard seeds,urad dhal,curry leaves.



  • Add the finely chopped yam/senaikizhangu and fry it.
  • add salt and chilli powder.



  • Fry until it gets cooked well



  • Serve as a side with Rice and dhal or sambar
