Rice flour                  -            4 cups
urad flour                  -            1 cups
Butter                                   -             6 tbsp
Hot oil                      -             4 tbsp
salt                            -             to taste
sesameseeds              -            1 tbsp
omam(ajwain)           -            1 tsp


  • Take a big bowl and  put the rice and urad flour and mix it together.

  • Add sesame seeds and omam/ajwain mix well.

  • Add salt to taste.
  • Take a small pan heat butter once it get melted and begins boiling switch off the stove and pour hot butter into the flour mixer.
  • Then in a big frying pan heat oil for deep frying.
  • Once it gets hot take a medium size spoon full of oil and  pour into the flour mixture  andmix well
  • Add right amount of water to the mixture to make a dough. little sticky dough is a perfect texture.

  • Take a little dough and put into murukku squeezer.
  • Press it into hot oil into murukkus and fry until golden

  • Serve it as a snack
