CHICKEN STARTER RECIPES

Here are two starter recipes that has chicken and lettuce combo, one is classic american salad called chicken caesar salad and the other is PF changs restaurant special lettuce chicken wraps

CAESAR SALAD

Lettuce -as needed

croutons - as needed

Parmesan cheee -to garnish

boneless chicken breast - 150 g

salt-to taste

pepper-to taste

rosemary - optional

salad dressing:

mayonnaise -1 tbsp

shallots-1

garlic clove-1

yellow mustard powder-1/2 tsp

lemon juice-1/2 tbsp

parmesan cheese-1 tbsp

olive oil -1 tbsp

salt-to taste

pepper -to taste

Method:

• marinade chicken with salt , pepper and thyme for atleast 10 minutes.
• Grill the chicken on both sides until well done.
• blend the ingredients listed for salad dressing into a dressing consistency.
• To a salad bowl take lettuce as needed
• Place the grilled chicken, top it up with croutons , parmesan cheese and drizzle the sald dressing.
• Enjoy the salad!!

 CHICKEN LETTUCE WRAPS 

Ingredients:

bonless chicken(breast/thigh)-200kg
pepper powder-1/2 tsp
mushrooms-1/2 cup (chopped)
ginger-1inch(chopped or paste)
garlic-3 cloves(chopped)
crushed peanut-1 to 2 tbsp

 bellpepper-2 tbsp (chopped)
spring onion-1tbsp (chopped)
hoisin sauce-1-2tbsp
lettuce-1/2 no.
oil-1tbsp
salt to taste

Method

• Cut the chicken into  very small pieces.
• Heat oil in a pan and add chicken along with salt and pepper powder and fry it.

• once  the chicken gets cooked  for few minutes add chopped ginger,garlic and adequate salt and pepper .
• Saute for the few minutes, and  add the mushrooms .
• Then put in a tbsp of hoisin sauce.

• Add crushed roasted peanut,bellpepper and stir fry for 2 minutes.
• garnish with spring onionsgreens and whites and stir for a minute.

• Take a lettuce place the chicken on it.

• Wrap it and have it as an appetizer.
