CHICKEN VEGGIE STIR FRY
Including veggies into the diet gets easier when you combine it with chicken and a yummy sauce.Here's a simple stir fry in chinese style with veggies and chicken.
INGREDIENTS:
boneless chicken -300 g
broccoli -4-5 florets
carrot-1
green beans-3-4
mushrooms-5
bell peppers of different colors -1 cup cubed
sesame oil -1 tbsp
salt-to taste
pepper -to taste
chopped ginger-1 tsp
chopped garlic -1 tsp
Hoisin sauce - 1-2 tbsp
roasted sesame seeds -1 2 tbsp
METHOD:
- Marinade chicken with salt and pepper
- To a cast iron kadai heat oil and sauté the marinated chicken until 80% done.
- To the same kadai , add in the cut broccoli ,carrots and green beans and stir fry on high flame for 2 minutes.
- Then add in mushrooms, and bell peppers of different colors.
- Put in adequate salt, chopped ginger , chopped garlic and saute for 3 -4 minutes.
- Add in the chicken too that was kept aside.
- Then add in hoisin sauce and required amount of pepper and stir fry until well done.
- Garnish with roasted sesame seeds and switch off the flame.
- Serve hot over rice/noodles/pasta or wrap over chapathi/tortilla or just munch as such
