Simple Potato Fry

Simple Potato Fry


Potato                    -  3 medium sized
mustard seeds        -  1/2 tsp
urad dhal                -  1 tsp
hing                        -  pinch
turmeric                  -1/8 tsp
salt                          - to taste
chilli powder           -1 tsp
oil                            -1-2 tbsp


  • Peel the skin and  cut the potato into small cubes
  • Heat oil and allow mustard seeds to splutter.Add urad dhal,hing and turmeric.

  • Add the cubed potatoes and fry for few minutes.

  • Sprinkle desired salt and chilli powder,mix well.

  • Fry until the potatoes are completely done.

  • Serve as a side with Rice.

Serves 4
