Broccoli Poriyal

Broccoli Poriyal



 Ingredients:

Broccoli                 - 1 bunch
onion                     -1/2  finely chopped
mustard seeds        -1/4 tsp
urad dhal               -1/4 tsp
cumin seeds          -1/4 tsp
curry leaves          -few
ginger garlic paste -1/2 tsp
shredded coconut  -1 tbsp
salt                         -to taste
chilli powder         -3/4 tsp
oil                          -1 tsp

Method:

  • In a pan heat  oil and allow mustard seeds to splutter.
  • Temper with urad dhal, cumin seeds, curry leaves.

  • Fry little ginger garlic paste and after the raw flavor goes off add the onions.

  • Add the clean and cut broccoli .


  • Add desired salt
    and chilli powder, stir well and a cup of water and cover it with a lid.
                                 


  • cook until the broccoli is well done .
  • Garnish with shredded coconut and cook for a minute.

  • Serve as a side with Rice
