Vazhaikkai roast/Plantain roast

Vazhaikkai roast/Plantain roast


chilli powder           -1/4tsp
cumin powder         -1/4tsp
fennel powder         -1/4tsp
salt                          -to taste
oil                            -3 to 4tbsp

  • Peel and cut the vazhaikkai/plantain into circle.
  • In a pan cook vazhaikkai with salt in water and then cook done.
  • Drain the water and mix all spice powders with the half cooked vazhaikkai and keep it aside  for minimum 15 to 20 min.

Heat a tawa add 2 tbsp oil place all vazhaikkai. fry for few minutes and turn into other side.

Once completly roasted take and serve with rice.
