Vegetable fried rice

 

Ingredients:

Basmathi Rice                 -    1 cup
chopped cabbage             -    1 cup
chopped green beans       -     1/2 cup
chopped carrots               -     1/2 cup
chopped bellpepper         -    1/2 cup
boiled green peas            -    1/4 cup
Chopped onion               -    1/2 cup
soya sauce                       -    2 tsp
salt                                   -    to taste
ajinomotto                       -    pinch
pepper                             -   1/2 tsp
oil                                    -   1 tsp
springonion                     -   to garnish (optional)

 

Method:

  • In a  pot cook 1 cup of washed basmathi rice in 3 cups of water and salt until 3/4 is done



  • Drain water from the rice and keep it in a plate




  • In a pan heat oil add the chopped onions for a minute



  • Now add the chopped carrot and green beans and fry for  a minute



  • Follow it by adding bell pepper too



  • After a minute put cabbage mix it once
  • and put green peas


  • After a minute add salt,ajinomotto,pepper,soyasauce and fry for 2 minutes



  • Now add the drained rice and fry for another 5 minutes



  • Garnish with chopped spring onion
 




  • Serve hot with Tomato sauce or any curry accompaniment
