Veg cutlet/Veg patties


 

Ingredients:

Boiled potatoes              -   2 large
chopped cabbage           -   3 tbsp
chopped carrot               -  2 tbsp
chopped green beans      - 2 tbsp
chopped bell pepper       -  1 tbsp
boiled green peas           - 1 tbsp
chopped cilantro             - little
salt                                   - to taste
chilli powder                  -  1/4 tsp
pepper                            - 1 tsp
garam masala                 - 1/4 tsp
bread crumbs                 -  as needed
oil                                  - to shallow fry
wheat flour                    - 1 cup or as needed


Method:

  • In a bowl mash the boiled potatoes without any masses
  • Add the chopped vegetables,salt,pepper,garam masala,cilantro,chilli powder into the mashed potatoes and mix well

  • Make small balls of the mixture

  • Now take a bowl and mix wheat flour with water and little salt to form a thick batter

  • Put bread crumbs onto a plate

  • Dip a ball into the batter and roll it on bread crumbs

  • gently press it in your palms to make patties

  • Roll on the bread crumbs again if needed

  • Keep it aside and repeat the process until all the balls are made into patties
  • Now shallow fry it in a pan turning on both sides until golden brown

  • Serve with ketchup
