Vazhakkai paal curry

 

Ingredient

vazhagai-1
onion-1
sambar powder-1 tbsp

for grinding
coconut-1/2 cup
fennel seeds-1/2 tsp


For Tempering
mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
cumin seed-1/2 tsp
uradal-1/2 tsp
green chili-1 or 2
   garlic-3 gloves
   curry leaves-few


Method
Grind coconut and fennel seed then take the coconut milk keep it aside.
In a pan heat 2 tbsp oil and temper with mustard seeds,urad dhal,cumin seeds,green chillies, curry leaves and crushed garlic.
Now add the chopped onion and fry until transparent.
 
Add diced vazhagai and stir 3 min and add sambar powder.
 
After 1 min add coconut milk.

cook until is done.
 
Garnish with cilantro .
 
Serve with Rice or chapathi
