 Pepper Garlic Mushroom fry

 

Ingredients:

Button mushrooms       - 450 g
onion                            -  1 large finely chopped
garlic                            - 1 tbsp finely chopped
ginger garlic paste        - 1/2 tsp
coriander powder          -  1 tbsp
cumin  powder              - 1 tsp
pepper powder              - 3/4 tbsp
turmeric                        -   1/8 tsp
salt                                -  to taste
red chillies                    - 2  broken
curry leaf powder         -  1/2 tsp or few curry leaves
oil                                 -   11/2 tbsp
 cilantro                                     -  to garnish

 

Method:

  • In a pan heat oil and add the finely chopped garlic cloves and red chillies



  • After the raw flavour goes off add the onions and curry leaf powder



  • once onion turns transparent  add the ginger garlic paste and turmeric.



  • After the raw flavour goes off  follow it by finely chopped mushrooms with all spices



  • Stir it for a  while and cover it with the lid
  • The mushroom oozes water(do not add any additional water)
  • Keep frying in between opening the lid



  • Once the mushroom gets cooked and nice aroma comes off garnish with cilantro



  • Serve with Rice or chapathi
