Pepper chicken


Chicken (boneless skinless) -  350 g
small onions                          - 12
Pepper                                   -  1 tbsp
coriander powder                  -  1 tbsp
cumin powder                        - 1/2 tbsp
turmeric                                 - 1/4 tsp
salt                                         -  to taste
red chillies                             -  2
Sesame oil                             -  2 tbsp


  • In a pan heat oil and add red chillies and curry leaves

  • Add the ginger garlic paste

  • After the raw flavour goes off add the small onions

  • After it turns transparent add the turmeric,salt,pepper,corianderpowder and cumin powder and mix well

  • Cut the boneless skinless chicken into small cubes
  • Add the chopped chicken into the pan and stir well

  • Cook until the chicken loses its water completely and oil oozes out

  • Sprinkle more pepper at the end  if desired

  • Serve with Rice and Rasam or yogurt
