Green moongdhal sundal/pasipayaru sundal


Ingredients:

Green moong dhal            -  1 cup
onion                                - 1/2 finely chopped
red chillies                       -  3
mustard seeds                  -  1 tsp
urad dhal                         -   1 tsp
curry leaves                     -  few
shredded coconut            -  2 tbsp

Method:

  • In a pressure cooker add green moong dhal and 2 cups of water and pressure cook upto one whistle.

  • In a pan heat oil and temper with mustard seeds,red chillies,urad dhal and curry leaves
  • Add onion and little salt and fry for a minute

  • After the pressure goes off open and mix the tempering with desired salt
  • Serve it adding shredded coconut to it

Serves 4
