Tindoora sambal(kovaikkai sambal)



Tindoora/kovaikkai              -    400 g
chilli garlic sauce                 -     3  tbsp
oil                                         -    to fry
salt                                       -    to taste



  • Wash and cut tindoora/kovaikkai into thin slices
  • Heat oil and fry tindoora/kovaikkai  until half done at batches
  • Sprinkle the desired salt on the half done fried tindoora/kovaikkai
  • Now in a pan heat 1 tbsp of oil and add the chilli garlic sauce and keep stirring

  • After 2 minutes add the tindoora and fry for another 10 minutes on medium flame stirring frequently

  • Yummy  Sambal is ready to serve with Rice
