Sprouted moong dhal curry


Sprouted moong dhal  - 2 cups

ginger chopped            - 1 tsp
garlic chopped             -  1tsp
onion                      - 1 finely chopped
tomato                    -1                     
coriander powder     -1 tsp
cilantro                    - for garnishing
salt                          -   to taste
chilli powder           - 1 tsp
oil                             -1 tbsp
coconut milk            -1 cup


  • In a cooker pour oil and  add  chopped ginger and garlic.
  • After a min  add onion and fry until transluscent.
  •  Add salt chilli powder& coriander powder
  • Now put sprouted moong dal and mix it
  • pour 2 cups of water and pressure cook for a whistle .
  • Open the cooker after the pressure goes down and add chopped tomato cilantro and coconut milk as needed and cook for 5 minutes on low flame
  • Serve with chapathi or dosa
