Gramathu Chicken curry

Ingredients:

Chicken                   -  500 g
small onion             -  200 g
fennel seeds            -   1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste  -   1 tbsp
turmeric                   -    1/4 tsp
coriander powder     -    1 tbsp
cumin powder           -    1 tsp
coconut milk             -    1 cup
green chillies             -     7
curry leaves               -      few
pepper                        -   1 tsp
cilantro                       -    to garnish
sesame oil                   -     1 tbsp

Method:

  • Heat oil in a kadai and add fennel seeds
  • Add green chillies and curry leaves
  • Now add onion and little salt
  •  
After onion turns transparent add ginger garlic paste

 
 
  • Ater the raw smell goes off add chicken and desired salt
  • Add all spices and mix well

  • 
    Now fry until spices blend well
  • 


Now add the coconut milk and little water
  • Cover the lid for until 25 minutes or until chicken is done
  •  
  • Garnish with cilantro
  • Serve with Rice or paratha or Idli or dosa or chapathi
  •
